PRIOR TO ADDING: Make sure you have all your content ready in html5 format and the Zip file with the file directly in the zip folder, NOT a sub folder of the zip file. The index.html file MUST be in the root folder of the zip file.
STEP 1
Enter the course details, Assign Sites, Departments and Positions that can see this course to complete this course. (This will allow allocation of courses)
Enter the Employment Category that can access the course.
Enter if this course requires renewal (EG Trainee Need to sit the course every 12 month)
CORE MODULE: IF you make this course a core module and you select the Core Module requirements for Site, Department or Positions is will AUTOMATICALLY assign trainees to the course that meet these requirements.
CLICK SAVE AND NEXT.
STEP 2
Click on Upload file (course material)
Select your ZIP File – it will start to unzip and ask to confirm the index.html file. CLICK SAVE and CLOSE OPEN BOX.
Wait while the material uploads – a blue line will be visible at the top of the page to show progress. Once loaded the file name will appear in the Loaded Courses box.
CLICK SAVE AND NEXT.
STEP 3a
Enter if the course has an assessment YES/NO. If there is no assessment a simply acknowledgement checklist will be added to the end of the course.
Enter the pass mark for the assessments.
IF Yes – Click on the blue NEW QUESTION button.
STEP 3b – Multiple Choice Questions
Select if the question is CORE? IF Yes, the question will be always asked for this course.

ANSWERS: Enter the answer choices in the field (Type Answer)
If the multiple choice answer you have typed is correct tick the “Correct Answer” Checkbox. CLICK SAVE ANSWER
NOTE: Only one answer can be correct.
Keep adding multiple choice answers (For example you may have 5 multiple choice answer options)
STEP 3c – Short Answer Questions
Select if the question is CORE? IF Yes, the question will be always asked for this course.
Enter the Question Number
Enter the Question Content (Remember to add the direction needed IE Fill in the blank)
Type the Correct Answer in the ANSWER field
Type in the options keywords
Keyword Matches – If you want to allow more than one answer make sure it’s in the keywords and put in 2. If the answer must match exactly put 1.
ASSESSMENT OPTIONS
Once you have entered all your questions you can then set other Assessment options including setting the number of questions to be included in the assessment & the number attempts allowed.
TOTAL QUESTIONS OR ALL QUESTIONS
If you want all questions displayed set to Include all questions
If you want 10 or your 15 questions displayed randomly enter 10 in the Total Questions and pick Random from the Ordering Drop down list – this will randomly pick 10 questions each time.
ATTEMPTS ALLOWED
This is the number of failed attempts the trainee can make on the assessment. You can set this to any number if you want your trainee to just keep trying to get the answers correct.
Default is 3 attempts, just enter the amount you want. and click SAVE AND NEXT
STEP 4 – Review and Go Live
This is the final step in the creation of your course.
From here you can review a summary of your course set up. Save the course as a Draft. Or Go Live with the course making it available for allocation to trainees (both manual and auto).
NOTE: IF you create this new course as a core course for specific Sites, Departments and Positions, EVERY trainee that is allocated to the core Sites, Departments and Positions listed in this course will be auto enrolled and receive notification to complete training.
