NOTE: You can NOT add a Trainee until you have ACTIVE courses loaded in the LMS.
STEP BY STEP:
Click on the Trainee tab on the side menu.
Click on the blue Add New button to start entering the Trainees details.
This will open a pop up box where you can enter your Trainees details, set their criteria and allocate courses. If you have any Core Courses that match your Trainees set up criteria you will find this course will already be ticked as allocated to the Trainee.
|AUTO ALLOCATION OF COURSES – If a course has been set as core for a specific Site, Department or position and you add a trainee that matches these core requirements, the system will automatically allocate the course to new and existing trainees.
For existing trainees if a new core course is added that matches the trainee’s Site, Department or position an email will be sent informing them of the new course to complete.
Once you have entered all the details click on Save and Send and an email will be sent to your Trainee with their logon information and listing the courses that they are required to complete.
When you click on Save and Send a pop up will appear and from there you can choose to Add Skills, Knowledge and Competencies for the Trainee.
NOTE: All individual licences and certificate in the Learning Management System will NOT transfer them over to the Contractor Module if you have this active. This section is simply a storage of information for a trainee.
